"A perfect spot for a three generation reunion from the UK, USA and Wellington - ages 3 to 91! We loved the house, we loved Golden Bay, we loved the food and went away lighter in pocket, heavier in luggage and tighter in trousers!! Hope to come back soon."

From Nelson to Golden Bay
Golden Bay's sheltered coastline extends in the south from Separation Point in the Abel Tasman National Park to Farewell Spit at its northern tip.
They say Golden Bay is two hours and thirty years away from the rest of New Zealand. Such is its relative isolation. The nearest major town being Nelson.
Villa On The Bay is a leisurely 2 hour drive from Nelson airport. This is a picturesque drive with some stunning scenery along the way. Nelson Airport connects with New Zealand's international airports.
Directions to Golden Bay
From Nelson, head to Richmond and follow state highway 60 to Motueka. Travel through Motueka on SH60 and over the Takaka Hill to Takaka Township.
At the entrance to Takaka turn right at the Telegraph Hotel and follow the signs to Pohara Beach along Motupipi Street and Abel Tasman Drive.
On entering Pohara turn left at Selwyn Street, head to the end of the road and you will find Villa On the Bay, the last house at the very end of the road on the right.
Or fly straight to Takaka from Wellington and be at Villa On The Bay twenty minutes later.
